The office of mayor of Dearborn, Michigan has been the city's chief executive since its elevation from Dearborn Township in 1927. The 5th mayor Michael Guido served as the 64th President of the United States Conference of Mayors, and the current mayor Abdullah Hammoud is the city's first Arab American mayor.
