This is a list of people executed in New South Wales. It lists people who were executed by British (and from 1901, Australian) authorities within the modern-day boundaries of New South Wales. Within weeks of the arrival of the First Fleet in 1788 and the establishment of Sydney, New South Wales as the first permanent European settlement, Thomas Barrett became the first person to be executed in Australia under British law.
