Louise-Geneviève Gillot de Saintonge (sometimes Sainctonge), born Gillot de Beaucourt, (1650 – 24 March 1718) was a French femme de lettres and celebrated librettist, that is, the author of the text of an opera or other work of music that has lyrics. She was the first woman to have a work to which she contributed performed at the Royal Academy of Music in France, Didon.
