Lucky People Center was a Swedish artistic collective, best known for their electronic music, which falls roughly in the ambient house/trance/sound collage genres. The collective started as an underground illegal nightclub in Gothenburg. It moved its base to Stockholm in the early 1990s, forming a multimedia and musical collective. Lucky People Center were sporadically on tour from 1994 to 1997, and were playing some major events around Europe during this time. The collective also produced the documentary/collage films, Information is Free and Lucky People Center International.

- Lucky People Center is een Zweeds film- en muziekcollectief. De groep trad op tijdens Lowlands 1996. De groep maakte elektronische dansmuziek met samples en bijbehorende videoclips. De film Information is free uit 1994 bevat videoclips behorende bij de nummers It's Still Cloudy In Saudi-Arabia (1991), Rodney King (1992, naar aanleiding van de video over Rodney King en de rellen die dit teweegbracht) en Ubuuntu, waarin Desmond Tutu de filosofie van Ubuntu verklaart. Deze nummers staan tevens op het album Welcome To Lucky People Center uit 1993. De film Lucky People Center International uit 1999 bevat interviews met onder andere pornoactrice , , een voodoopriesteres en een Tibetaanse lama. Ook deze film is in feite een lange videoclip. (nl)

I början av 1990-talet flyttade många av gruppens medlemmar, flera som också haft kopplingar till skivbolaget Radium 226.05, till Stockholm. 1991 gav de ut sin första singel. Mellan 1994 och 1997 turnerade Lucky People Center och spelade på flera större festivaler och liknande runt om i Europa. Under 1990-talet producerade de även de två filmerna (!994) och Lucky People Center International (1998). (sv)
