Ludwig Paul Maria "Luigi" von Kunits (20 July 1870 – 8 October 1931) was a Canadian conductor, composer, violinist, and pedagogue. Born in Austria, he studied at the Vienna Conservatory. He later moved to Canada where he was the founding conductor of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra in 1922.

Von Kunits studierte in Wien Violine bei Jakob Grün und Otakar Ševčík, Komposition bei Anton Bruckner und Musikgeschichte bei Eduard Hanslick. Er war mit Karl Goldmark und Johann Strauss bekannt, und Johannes Brahms betraute den Elfjährigen mit dem Part der zweiten Violine in einem seiner Streichquartette. Achtzehnjährig führt von Kunits ein eigenes Violinkonzert mit den Wiener Philharmonikern auf. (de)
