MS Crown Seaways is a cruiseferry operated by DFDS Seaways on a route connecting Copenhagen & Frederikshavn in Denmark to Oslo, Norway. The ship was built in 1994 by Brodosplit in Split, Croatia. She was originally ordered by Euroway and was to be called Frans Kockum but never sailed under that name. The ship was also temporarily renamed Thomas Mann during construction. She first sailed under the name Crown of Scandinavia. Crown Seaways has three sister ships: Amorella and Gabriella in the Viking Line fleet and Isabelle in the Tallink fleet.

  • Le Crown Seaways est un cruise-ferry appartenant à la compagnie danoise DFDS. Commandé en 1989 aux chantiers BrodoSplit de Split en Yougoslavie (actuelle Croatie) par l'armateur suédois Sea-Link Shipping, il était à l'origine destiné à assurer une liaison reliant la Suède et l'Allemagne sous les couleurs de la compagnie Euroway. En raison cependant d'un important retard pris dans la construction principalement dû à la guerre d'indépendance croate, Sea-Link refusera finalement d'acquérir le navire. Tout de même achevé en 1994, celui-ci est ainsi racheté par DFDS et baptisé Crown of Scandinavia. Mis en service en juillet 1994 entre le Danemark et la Norvège, il est actuellement toujours employé sur cet axe. (fr)
  • M/S Crown Seaways är en kryssningsfärja som trafikerar linjen för DFDS Seaways. Sedan juni 2020 går rutten via Frederikshavn. Fartyget beställdes av rederiet Euroway för trafik mellan Malmö och Travemünde/Lübeck, men försenades och avbeställdes. Bygget fortsatte dock på varvet i Split i Kroatien och hon färdigställdes under det provisoriska namnet M/S Thomas Mann. År 1994 köptes hon av DFDS och fick namnet M/S Crown of Scandinavia.
