Making It! Minority Success Stories is a weekly, half-hour magazine format television show that showcases the stories of small business owners from across the United States with emphasis on minority and women entrepreneurs. Since its premiere in March 1989 on Los Angeles KTLA, it has featured over 1000 entrepreneur stories. Nelson Davis, the executiveproducer and founder of Nelson Davis Television Productions, created the show to highlight the triumphs, challenges, and contributions of minority entrepreneurs.
