Malay and Indonesian grammar is the body of rules that describe the structure of expressions in the Malay language (Brunei, Malaysia, and Singapore) and Indonesian (Indonesia and Timor Leste). This includes the structure of words, phrases, clauses and sentences. In Malay and Indonesian, there are four basic parts of speech: nouns, verbs, adjectives, and grammatical function words (particles). Nouns and verbs may be basic roots, but frequently they are derived from other words by means of prefixes and suffixes.

* Sintaksis: kajian tentang pembentukan ayat. (in)
  • 말레이인도네시어 문법(말레이인도네시아語 文法), 간칭 마인어문법(馬印語文法)은 말레이어와 인니어의 공통된 문법을 이른다. (ko)
  • 馬來語和印尼語是兩種高度相似的語言,具有一定的互通性,就某個角度來看,可將之視為同一種語言的兩種不同方言,其語法亦有相當程度的的相似之處。 以下除非特別聲明,否則一律以馬來─印尼語統稱馬來語和印尼語。 (zh)
