Malaysia–Singapore relations (Malay: Hubungan Malaysia–Singapura; simplified Chinese: 马来西亚–新加坡关系; traditional Chinese: 馬來西亞–新加坡關係; pinyin: Mǎláixīyà–Xīnjiāpō Guānxì; Tamil: மலேஷியா–சிங்கப்பூர் உறவுகள், romanized: Malēṣiyā–ciṅkappūr uṟavukaḷ), also known as Malaysian–Singaporean relations, refers to the bilateral relations between Malaysia and the Republic of Singapore, after the expulsion of Singapore from Malaysia in 1965. Singapore has a high commission in Kuala Lumpur and a consulate general in Johor Bahru, while Malaysia has a high commission in Singapore. Both countries are full members of the Commonwealth of Nations and ASEAN.
