Marinekazerne Suffisant is a Dutch armed forces base located on Curaçao. Until 2009, it was used by the infantry company 31 INFCIE of the Netherlands Marine Corps. Currently the base is used for the conscription of Curaçaoan youths. However, rather than being purely military in nature, the conscription also serves a social purpose: conscripts can get an education and receive diplomas on the base. During the first six months the conscripts receive military training and in the remaining six months they study to obtain a diploma. The conscripts are called miliciens. Currently the Royal Marechaussee has a brigade stationed on the base as well.

Vanaf de bouw in 1929 is Suffisant gedurende 80 jaar de thuisbasis geweest van de 31e Infanteriecompagnie van het Korps mariniers. Sinds 2009 worden er vooral lokale militairen (miliciens) opgeleid door Nederlandse Mariniers. La historia del Cuerpo de Marines de los Países Bajos en lo que respecta a Marinekazerne suffisant comenzó en 1929 después de que un rebelde de Venezuela, Rafael Simón Urbina, junto con un grupo de seguidores trató de hacerse con el control del Fuerte Ámsterdam en Curazao. Holanda envió la Infantería de Marina para garantizar la seguridad externa de las islas neerlandesas de ABC. Otra razón era proporcionar respuesta contra disturbios internos, las huelgas y protestas.
