The Master of the Female Half-Lengths (sometimes referred to as Master of the Half-Lengths) is the notname given to a painter, or more likely a group of painters of a workshop, active in the Low Countries in the early sixteenth century. The name was given in the 19th century to identify the maker or makers of a body of work consisting of 67 paintings to which since 40 more have been added. The Master created female figures in genre scenes, small religious and mythological works, landscapes and portraits.

Se le ha identificado con Jean Clouet, Lucas de Heere y , pero su identidad sigue siendo discutida. El maestro de las medias figuras femeninas también realizó escenas religiosas y mitológicas. En su obra se aprecia la dulzura característica de la escuela de Brujas, a través de Adriaen Isenbrandt y Ambrosius Benson, así como de los paisajes de Joachim Patinir. Zij waren gespecialiseerd in de afbeelding van over het algemeen Bijbelse en ook aristocratische jongedames die zich bezighielden met alledaagse activiteiten als lezen, het schrijven van een brief of het bespelen van een muziekinstrument. De werken zijn meestal uitgevoerd in klein formaat, in olieverf op paneel. De term 'halffiguur' slaat op de meestgebruikte uitsnede: een afbeelding van het bovenlijf tot aan de taille. De kunstenaar(s) werkte(n) voor zowel kerkelijke als wereldlijke opdrachtgevers en het werk toont een overgang van de middeleeuwse kunst naar die van de vroege Renaissance. De vrouwenportretten kunnen worden gekenschetst als een vroege vorm van het genrestuk. De werken vertonen enige overeenkomsten met die van de Vlaamse schilders en tijdgenoten Ambrosius Benson en Adriaen Isenbrandt. Hun werk, met name de landschappen, werd lange tijd aangezien voor het werk vanJoachim Patinir.

Dzieła Mistrza Półfigur Kobiecych przedstawiają najczęściej ujęte od pasa w górę dziewczęta z rodów arystokratycznych, najczęściej muzykujące lub śpiewające (wiadomo jednak, że namalował też Madonny od stóp w górę). Charakterystyczne dla MPK jest przedstawianie muzykujących (co może łączyc się z symbolem grzechu, np. w przypadku grania na flecie) oraz dokładne przedstawianie szczegółów (można odczytać z nich np. nuty pieśni). Oprócz znanych półfigur: Dama grająca na szpinecie (Muzeum Narodowe w Poznaniu), Trzy muzykantki (Gosudarstwiennyj Ermitaż, Sankt Petersburg), przypisywane mu obrazy o tematyce religijnej to: Święta Rodzina, Odpoczynek w czasie ucieczki do Egiptu, Matka Boska z Dzieciątkiem (Gosudarstwiennyj Ermitaż, Sankt Petersburg).
