Max Graf (1 October 1873 – 24 June 1958) was an Austrian music historian and critic. He was born in Vienna, the son of Josef and Regine (Lederer) Graf. His father was a political writer and editor. Max was described as the "dean of music critics in Vienna" in the first part of the 20th century.

Graf författade bland annat Deutsche Musik im 19. Jahrhundert (1898). Han var vän till Sigmund Freud och skrev också om psykoanalys och musik. Hans son var (1904–1973) alias "Lille Hans". (sv) Max Graf, né le 1er octobre 1873 à Vienne, où il meurt le 24 juin 1958, était un journaliste, compositeur, critique musical et musicologue autrichien qui s'intéressa à la psychanalyse. Il est connu comme le père du « petit Hans » : il réalise l'analyse de son fils, Herbert Graf, atteint de phobie, sous le contrôle de Freud. Freud a publié ce cas dans les Cinq Psychanalyses.
