There have been two baronetcies created for persons with the surname May, one in the Baronetage of Ireland and one in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom. The May Baronetcy, of Mayfield in the County of Waterford, was created in the Baronetage of Ireland on 30 June 1763 for James May. The second Baronet represented Belfast in the House of Commons between 1801 and 1814. The title became extinct on the death of the fourth Baronet in 1834.
