The Michaeliskirche or St. Michaelis Kirche (St. Michael's Church) in the Thuringian town of Ohrdruf was the church where Johann Sebastian Bach's eldest brother, Johann Christoph Bach, held the post of organist 1690 - 1721. He took on the care of his younger brothers Johann Jacob and Johann Sebastian after they were orphaned in 1695.

- La komencoj de la Preĝejo Sankta Miĥaelo (germane: Michaeliskirche) je Ohrdruf, Germanio, reiras ĝis en la tempo de misioepiskopo Bonifaco ĉ. 724/725 p.K. El ĉi tiuj komencoj, malgranda kapelo, ekestis post ruiniĝoj kaj urbobrulegoj de pluraj postsekvantaj konstruaĵoj. Ĝis nun konserviĝis la kvadrata turo el la 15-a jarcento, masonita el rompŝtonoj. Ĝi transdaŭris kiel ununura konstruaĵo la grandajn urbobrulegojn de 1753 kaj 1808, same kiel la bombatakojn de 1945. En la postmilita tempo la turo estis kovrita per simpla betontegmento kaj tiel transdaŭris la jarojn de la GDR. Ekde 1999 tamen la nun restaŭrita turo estas denove ekkonilo de la urbo kaj nun brilas en sia malnova beleco. (eo)

Nun la turo de la Michaeliskirche loĝigas malgrandan kapelon kaj ekspozicion pri sia historio. Kadre de la restaŭrado ekestis ankaŭ pliaj ĉambroj en la Michaelis-turo, uzeblaj por multspecaj aranĝoj. Ankaŭ eblas vizite la turon kadre de ĉiĉeronado. Unu el la orgenistoj ĉe Michaeliskirche estis la tridek jarojn pli aĝa frato de Johann Sebastian Bach, Johann Christoph, kiu tenis la postenon ekde 1690. Kelkan tempon estis sub la ombro de Mikaelo-kirko ankaŭ lerneja komplekso de Gymnasium Gleichense. (eo)
