| - Le mont Arvon est le point culminant de l'État américain du Michigan à 603 mètres d'altitude. Il se trouve à L'Anse Township, dans le comté de Baraga. Il culmine à la même altitude que le mont Curwood situé également dans le Michigan. Le mont Arvon est situé dans les montagnes de Huron, dans la péninsule supérieure de l'État. Il tire son nom des dépôts d'ardoise dans le secteur, qui étaient réminiscents de ceux autour de Caernarfon (ou Carnarvon) au pays de Galles. (fr)

Na wierzchołek można dojść pieszo po około 800 m spacerze od parkingu znajdującego się poniżej, na nieutwardzonej drodze wiodącej z miejscowości L’Anse, siedziby władz hrabstwa Baraga, leżącej około 20 km na wschód od szczytu. - Mount Arvon, elevation 1,979 feet (603 m), is the highest natural point in the U.S. state of Michigan. Located in L'Anse Township, Baraga County, Mount Arvon is part of the Huron Mountains. It rises about eight miles (13 km) south of Lake Superior (elevation 591 feet [180 m]). On the list of highest natural points in each U.S. state, Mount Arvon ranks 38th. It is the highest natural point in the East North Central states. The property is owned by the MeadWestvaco paper company but public access is allowed.
