Nam Sang Wai is a wetland area in San Tin, New Territories, Hong Kong to the north of Yuen Long. It is considered ecologically important, and serves as a stopping place for migratory birds. It is also a popular recreational destination, especially on weekends.

  • 南生圍 （英語：Nam Sang Wai）位於香港元朗橫洲東面，山貝村北面，天福圍西北面，被錦田河及山貝河包圍。兩河之間的交匯處有一小島，猶如一個雀鳥天堂。因為水退時，小島泥灘旁有很多候鳥會在該處停留，尤其是黑面琵鷺。除鳥類外，南生圍內亦有不同種類的植物及生物，如、蘆葦、紅頭潛鴨、青頭潛鴨及招潮蟹等等。 南生圍的美景不僅吸引雀鳥，近年不少市民，特別是攝影愛好者，皆會趁假日到來觀鳥和拍照。一大片的山林美景、蜿蜒河流及長木橋（婚紗橋）等等亦成為拍攝婚紗照的理想背景。而南生圍的山貝河還有極具特色的交通工具——橫水渡，成為當地的旅遊賣點。南生圍路旁一片高聳的大樹，被蘆葦草環繞的大片魚塘，亦是無數電影、電視及音樂短片的取景勝地，如香港電影《導火線》的兩名主角甄子丹及鄒兆龍的打鬥場面，就是穿梭於南生圍拍攝，劇集《搜神傳》、《胭脂水粉》、《洪武三十二》及《食為奴》亦曾於該處取景。 (zh)

These plans have been challenged by environmentalists, politicians, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, the World Wildlife Fund, the Conservancy Association, and the Town Planning Board.
