Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, this airport is assigned BAZ by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA (which assigned BAZ to Barcelos Airport in Barcelos, Amazonas, Brazil). From 1940 to 1967, it operated as Clear Springs Air Force Base. (en)
