| - نوف هچليل (بالعبريَّة: נוֹף הַגָּלִיל)، هي مدينة إسرائيلية تقع في المنطقة الشمالية، تأسست في عام 1957 باسم الناصرة العليا أو نتسرات عيليت قُرب مدينة الناصرة، لتكون بمثابة ثقل موازن لليهود في الجليل، وتم تخطيطها لتشرف على مدينة الناصرة العربية ومرج بن عامر، وتصبح مركزًا إداريًا للمنطقة. بلغ عدد سكانها في عام 2018 قرابة 41,169 نسمة، وتبلغ مساحتها نحو 32.5 كم2. أصبحت مدينة في عام 1974. تم تغيير اسمها في عام 2019 إلى «نوف هچليل» بعد استفتاء وافق فيه 80% من الناخبين على التغيير. - Nof HaGalil (hebräisch נוֹף הַגָּלִיל ‚Aussicht Galiläas‘, im Sinne von „Aussicht auf Galiläa“) ist eine Stadt im Nordbezirk Israels in der historischen Landschaft Galiläa mit 41.169 Einwohnern (2018). Bis 2019 trug sie den Namen Nazareth-Illit (hebräisch נָצְרַת עִלִּית Natsrat ʿIllīt, deutsch ‚Ober-Nazareth‘). Im Gegensatz zur älteren Schwesterstadt Nazareth, in der vor allem arabische Israelis leben, wird das 1957 gegründete Nof HaGalil überwiegend von Juden bewohnt. In 1956 vestigden de eerste bewoners zich in de stad, die destijds Nazareth Illit werd genoemd. Deze naam betekent Opper-Nazareth en verwijst naar het veel oudere Nazareth. De stad werd gebouwd als een van de joodse ontwikkelingssteden in Galilea, bedoeld om het joodse karakter te versterken ten opzichte/nadele van het - ondanks "1948"- nog steeds sterk Palestijns-Arabische karakter van deze regio. De zogenaamde Jehud ha Galil-politiek. De stad werd in 2019 na een volksstemming hernoemd van Nazaret Illit naar Nof HaGalil. (nl)
