  • 北方文化博物館（ほっぽうぶんかはくぶつかん）は、新潟県新潟市江南区沢海（そうみ）にある戦後初の私立博物館。第二次世界大戦後の農地改革で、財団法人（史蹟文化振興会）の道を選択し、豪農伊藤文吉の邸宅を米国連合国最高司令官総司令部（GHQ）の民間情報教育部門（CIE）の長として着任した、ラルフ・E・ライト中尉の援助のもと、博物館として整備した。美術工芸品や考古資料等を展示している。運営主体は一般財団法人北方文化博物館。理事長は八代目伊藤文吉逝去後、伊藤家南浜分家当主伊藤勝也(新潟分館館長)が就任。 分館として新潟市中央区南浜通に会津八一が晩年を過ごした新潟分館、新発田市大栄町に新発田藩下屋敷であった清水園（しみずえん）がある。 (ja)
