Oswald Griffiths (12 January 1909 – December 1989) was a Welsh rugby union and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1930s. He played club level rugby union (RU) for Cwmavon RFC, and representative level rugby league (RL) for Wales, and at club level for Wigan, St. Helens (two spells) (Heritage № 421), and Halifax, as a centre, second-row, or loose forward, i.e. number 3 or 4, or 11 or 12, or 13, during the era of contested scrums.
