Το παρεκκλήσι ακολουθεί τη λατινική ιεροτελεστία και εξαρτάται από την Αυτόνομη Ιεραποστολή στο Αφγανιστάν (Missio sui iuris Afghanistaniensis) που δημιουργήθηκε από τον Πάπα Ιωάννη Παύλο Β΄ το 2002. Το παρεκκλήσι εγκρίθηκε το 1933 και έχει επιβιώσει από πολέμους, αναταραχές και την εποχή της κυβέρνησης των Ταλιμπάν χάρη στην προστασία που παρέχει η Ιταλική Πρεσβεία. Τελεί υπό την ποιμαντική ευθύνη του Ιταλού ιερέα Πατέρα Ιώσηπου Μορέττι από το 2016. Το σημερινό κτίριο έχει τις ρίζες του το 1921 όταν η Ιταλία και το Αφγανιστάν συνήψαν διπλωματικές σχέσεις. Sigue el rito romano o latino y depende de la misión sui iuris de Afganistán (Missio sui iuris Afghanistaniensis) que fue creada por el Papa Juan Pablo II en 2002. El templo fue autorizado en 1933 y gracias a la protección que brinda la embajada de Italia sobrevivió a guerras, conmociones y a la época del gobierno Talibán. Esta bajo la responsabilidad pastoral del sacerdote italiano Giuseppe Moretti. El edificio actual tiene sus orígenes en 1921 cuando Italia y Afganistán establecieron relaciones diplomáticas. Fue completada solo en 1960. La mayoría de los símbolos cristianos están limitados, solo se permite un pequeña cruz en la entrada. (es)
- The Our Lady of Divine Providence Chapel or Chapel of the Italian Embassy in Kabul, was a religious building that was affiliated with the Catholic Church and is located in Street Great Massoud, in the city of Kabul, capital of Afghanistan. The chapel followed the Latin rite and depended on the Mission sui juris in Afghanistan (Missio sui iuris Afghanistaniensis) that was created by Pope John Paul II in 2002. The chapel was authorized in 1933 and had survived wars, upheavals and the time of the first Taliban government thanks to the protection provided by the Italian Embassy. The parish was abandoned following the 2021 Taliban offensive. It was under the pastoral responsibility of Italian priest Father Giuseppe Moretti from 2003 to 2014, and Father Giovanni Scalese from 2014 to 2021. The current building has its origins in 1921 when Italy and Afghanistan established diplomatic relations. It was completed in 1960. Most Christian symbols were limited, with just a small cross having been allowed at the entrance. (en)
