- The Palm Treo /ˈtriːoʊ/ (stylized as Trēo) is a discontinued line of smartphones originally developed by Handspring, which was bought by Palm, Inc. They were then manufactured and maintained by Palm, Inc. Treos had a number of integrated features such as the ability to check the calendar while talking on the phone, dial directly from a list of contacts, and send email messages. The final models included a built-in camera. Treos ran Palm OS, but later models also ran Windows Mobile. The Palm Pre, released in June 2009, replaced the Treo series. (en)

- Trēo to nazwa serii telefonów komórkowych typu smartfon początkowo produkowanych przez firmę (od 2002), wykupioną w 2004 r. przez Palm, Inc. Wszystkie modele posiadają wiele wbudowanych funkcji typowych dla palmtopów (kalendarz, notatnik, kalkulator, etc.) oraz dla telefonów komórkowych (lista kontaktów, obsługa SMS i e-mail oraz przeglądanie stron internetowych). Najnowsze modele wyposażone są dodatkowo w aparat fotograficzny, dyktafon oraz obsługę MMS. Wszystkie posiadają ekran dotykowy oraz wbudowaną klawiaturę kciukową. Tradycyjnym systemem operacyjnym dla palmtopów Trēo jest Palm OS, a nowsze modele wyprodukowane zostały również w wersjach z systemem Windows Mobile. (pl)

Het apparaat is een combinatie van een pda en een mobiele telefoon en is oorspronkelijk ontwikkeld door het Amerikaanse bedrijf Handspring. Sinds eind 2003 is Handspring overgenomen door Palm, Inc. Daardoor werd de Treo 600 door Palm, Inc. (toen tijdelijk PalmOne geheten) op de Nederlandse markt gelanceerd. De modellen vóór de Treo 600 worden niet meer geproduceerd.
