| - Paul Mba Abessole, né le 9 octobre 1939, est un homme politique gabonais, dirigeant du Rassemblement national des bûcherons (RNB) puis du Rassemblement pour le Gabon (RPG), opposant de premier plan au président Omar Bongo durant les années 1990. Il se porta trois fois candidat à l’élection présidentielle (en 1993, 1998 et 2016) et fut maire de Libreville, la capitale, de 1996 à 2003. - Paul Mba Abessole (born October 9, 1939) is a Gabonese politician who heads the National Woodcutters' Rally – Rally for Gabon (Rassemblement national des Bûcherons - Rassemblement pour le Gabon, RNB-RPG) and was a leading opponent of President Omar Bongo during the 1990s. He stood as a presidential candidate twice during the 1990s and also served as Mayor of Libreville, the capital. From 2002 to 2009 he served in the government of Gabon, holding the rank of Deputy Prime Minister for most of that period. (en)
