Pons of Melgueil (c. 1075 – 1126) was the seventh Abbot of Cluny from 1109 to 1122. Pons was the second child of Peter I of Melgueil and Almodis of Toulouse. He was descended from a noble lineage of Languedoc which had long supported the Gregorian reform. He himself was a nephew and godson of Pope Paschal II. He was an oblate at the abbey of Saint-Pons-de-Thomières, before pronouncing his vows with the Benedictines at Cluny.

Il se signale par son action diplomatique, prenant parti pour la papauté dans la querelle des Investitures. En 1122, il démissionne ou est déposé pour des raisons qui ne font pas l'unanimité parmi les historiens. Après avoir tenté de reprendre l'abbatiat en 1126, Pons meurt schismatique et excommunié. Er war Laienbruder in Saint-Pons-de-Thomières, dann Prior in Saint-Martial in Limoges und wurde schließlich Abt von Cluny. Pontius von Melgueil zeichnete sich durch außergewöhnliche administrative Fähigkeiten aus. Er spielte eine wesentliche Rolle in den diplomatischen Beziehungen zwischen dem Papst und dem Kaiserreich.
