Rahel Hirsch (September 15, 1870 – October 6, 1953) was a German physician and professor at the Charité medical school in Berlin. In 1913 she became the first woman in the Kingdom of Prussia to be appointed a professor in medicine.

Sie war 1913 die erste Frau, die in Deutschland (im Königreich Preußen) zur Professorin der Medizin ernannt wurde. Die von ihr entdeckte Durchlässigkeit der Schleimhaut des Dünndarms für – von ihr so bezeichnete – „großkorpuskuläre Partikel“ (relativ große Körner fester Substanzen) und die anschließende Ausscheidung mit dem Harn wurde nach ihr Hirsch-Effekt benannt.
