Captain Richard Wallace Annand VC, ERD, DL (5 November 1914 – 24 December 2004) was an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. This was the first VC awarded to a member of the British Army in the Second World War.

Był pierwszym żołnierzem odznaczonym najwyższym wojskowym orderem brytyjskim Krzyżem Wiktorii w czasie II wojny światowej. Uhonorowano go za postawę w czasie walk nad rzeką Dijle w centralnej Belgii 15 maja 1940. Zadał duże straty nieprzyjaciołom, walczył mimo odniesionych ran, a po rozkazie odwrotu wrócił po zaginionego ordynansa. W czasie tej akcji był podporucznikiem (Second Lieutenant), potem awansował na kapitana. (pl)
