Roaring Ridge (86°14′S 146°45′W / 86.233°S 146.750°W) is a long and outstanding spur that descends from the Watson Escarpment 3.5 nautical miles (6 km) northeast of Mount Blackburn. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960–64. So named by New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (NZGSAE) (1969–70) because two geologists worked and camped nearby, experiencing roaring gale-force winds rushing down the steep escarpment.

| - Roaring Ridge (englisch für Brausender Grat) ist ein langer und hervorstechender Gebirgskamm im westantarktischen Marie-Byrd-Land. Er geht 5,5 km nordöstlich des Mount Blackburn vom Watson Escarpment aus. Der United States Geological Survey kartierte ihn anhand eigener Vermessungen und Luftaufnahmen der United States Navy aus den Jahren von 1960 bis 1964. Teilnehmer einer von 1969 bis 1970 durchgeführten Kampagne im Rahmen der New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition benannten ihn nach den brausenden Winden, denen zwei Geologen dieser Kampagne in ihrem unweit dieses Gebirgskamms aufgeschlagenen Lager ausgesetzt waren.
