(pt) Samuel Vince (* 6. April 1749 in ; † 28. November 1821 in Ramsgate) war ein britischer Mathematiker, Astronom und Geistlicher. Vince war der Sohn eines Maurers und half seinem Vater bis zum Alter von zwölf Jahren bei der Arbeit. Ein Geistlicher bemerkte ihn lesend bei der Arbeit und sorgte für seine Ausbildung. Er studierte ab 1771 als Sizar (Stipendiat) am Caius College der Universität Cambridge, an der er 1775 Senior Wrangler in den Tripos-Prüfungen wurde und den Smith-Preis gewann. 1777 wechselte er an das Sidney Sussex College in Cambridge (als Samuel Taylor Lecturer, er war aber kein Fellow), erwarb 1778 seinen Magister Artium und wurde 1779 als Geistlicher ordiniert. Danach hatte er verschiedene Stellungen in der anglikanischen Kirche – 1809 wurde er Erzdiakon (Archdeacon) von Bedfor (de) Samuel Vince (1749ko apirilaren 6a – 1821eko azaroaren 28a) Cambridgeko Unibertsitatean matematikari eta astronomoa britainiarra zen.
