Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso (Italian: Eremo di Santa Caterina del Sasso) is a Roman Catholic monastery located in the municipality of Leggiuno, in the Province of Varese and the region of Lombardy, Italy. It is perched on a rocky ridge on the eastern shore of Lake Maggiore. The monastery can be reached on foot by descending down a long winding stairway or by taking an elevator or by a number of ferry services or boats that dock at the pier.

Sie liegt heute in der italienischen Gemeinde Leggiuno in der Provinz Varese. Im 13. Jahrhundert bauten Dominikaner das Gebäude zu einem Kloster um. Dieses ist das Ziel vieler Wallfahrten. Es liegt direkt am Lago Maggiore und ist wie viele ehemalige Einsiedeleien an einer schwer zugänglichen Stelle an einem Fels erbaut. Es ist heute von der See- und von der Landseite her erreichbar; man kann das Kloster über eine steile Treppe oder einen Aufzug erreichen. Seit April 2019 wird das Kloster von der geführt. (de)
