| - The Scamozzina culture (Italian Cultura della Scamozzina), which takes its name from the necropolis found in Cascina Scamozzina of Albairate, was a prehistoric civilization of Italy that developed between the end of the middle Bronze Age and the beginning of the late Bronze Age (14th and 13th century BC), in western Lombardy and Piedmont. - La cultura della Scamozzina, prende il nome dalla necropoli rinvenuta alla Cascina Scamozzina di Albairate e fu una civiltà dell'Italia preistorica che si sviluppò tra la fine della media e l'inizio della tarda Età del bronzo, tra il XIV ed il XIII secolo a.C., in Lombardia occidentale ed in Piemonte. Essa si sviluppa all'interno di un'area che viene definita come genericamente Ligure e precede ed introduce i temi che saranno poi specifici della successiva cultura proto-celtica di Canegrate. Si suppone che le abitazioni di questa cultura fossero fabbricate in legno, paglia ed argilla. (it)

Существовала на западе Ломбардии и Пьемонта. На территории, где существовала данная культура, в античности обитал народ лигуры. Ряд инноваций данной культуры заимствовала пришедшая на эти земли позднее кельтская культура Канеграте. Одним из популярных декоративных мотивов скамоццинской керамики были одна или две полосы треугольников, расположенных в виде зигзага. (ru)

| - The Scamozzina culture (Italian Cultura della Scamozzina), which takes its name from the necropolis found in Cascina Scamozzina of Albairate, was a prehistoric civilization of Italy that developed between the end of the middle Bronze Age and the beginning of the late Bronze Age (14th and 13th century BC), in western Lombardy and Piedmont. It was located in an area that is generally defined as ethnically Ligurian and it introduced some cultural characteristics more specific to the subsequent proto-Celtic Culture of Canegrate. Among the evidences of this culture there is a cremation tomb, dating to the late Bronze Age (13th century BC.) found at Guado di Gugnano, Casaletto Lodigiano in February 1876, during the flatworks in a field near the Lisone. The Scamozzina culture, clearly distinct from the coeval Terramare culture, saw the establishment of the funeral rite of cremation in which also a set of ornaments was deposed with the bones in the cinerary urn, an early phenomenon, ahead of other Italian regions but also of most of Europe who knew of this development only from the earliest phases of the Urnfield culture. One of the favorite motifs in the decoration of the Scamozzina pottery is that of two strips of triangles arranged with the top hatch opposed to form a zig-zag band. Characteristic is also the spread of the decoration technique with fake strings. It is assumed that the buildings of this culture were made in wood, straw and clay. (en)
- La cultura della Scamozzina, prende il nome dalla necropoli rinvenuta alla Cascina Scamozzina di Albairate e fu una civiltà dell'Italia preistorica che si sviluppò tra la fine della media e l'inizio della tarda Età del bronzo, tra il XIV ed il XIII secolo a.C., in Lombardia occidentale ed in Piemonte. Essa si sviluppa all'interno di un'area che viene definita come genericamente Ligure e precede ed introduce i temi che saranno poi specifici della successiva cultura proto-celtica di Canegrate. Tra le testimonianze di questa cultura vi è la tomba a cremazione, risalente all'inizio della tarda Età del bronzo (XIII secolo a.C.), trovata a frazione di Casaletto Lodigiano, nel febbraio del 1876, durante i lavori di livellamento in un campo nei pressi del Lisone. Con la cultura della Scamozzina, ben distinta dalla coeva cultura terramaricola, si afferma il rito funebre della cremazione, elemento culturale unificante perché sottintende una comune concezione della morte, in cui il fuoco assume un ruolo centrale, con deposizione nell'urna, insieme alle ossa combuste, di un corredo di oggetti ornamentali. Uno dei motivi preferiti nella decorazione della ceramica è quello di due fasce di triangoli tratteggiati disposti con il vertice contrapposto in modo da formare a risparmio una banda a zig-zag. Caratteristico è, inoltre, il diffondersi della decorazione con la tecnica della finta cordicella. Il diffondersi della cremazione con urne accompagnate da corredo fin dalla fase più recente della media Età del bronzo è un fenomeno che appare precocemente nell'Italia nord-occidentale, precedendo non solo altre regioni italiane ma anche buona parte dell'Europa che conoscerà un simile sviluppo solo a partire dalla fase più antica della Cultura dei campi di urne. Si suppone che le abitazioni di questa cultura fossero fabbricate in legno, paglia ed argilla. (it)

Ряд инноваций данной культуры заимствовала пришедшая на эти земли позднее кельтская культура Канеграте. Скамоццинская культура, имевшая сильные отличия от существовавшей в то же время соседней террамарской культуры, ввела в обиход обряд погребальной кремации, после чего в урну с пеплом помещались также некоторые украшения. Такая инновация опередила не только многие другие регионы Италии, но и другие части европы, где подобный обряд появился только на ранних стадиях культуры полей погребальных урн. Характерной гробницей с кремированными останками является гробница позднего бронзового века (13 в. до н. э.), найденная в феврале 1876 г. в Гуньяно. Одним из популярных декоративных мотивов скамоццинской керамики были одна или две полосы треугольников, расположенных в виде зигзага. Считается, что дома данной культуры строились из дерева, соломы и глины. (ru)
