The School of Medicine (Croatian: Medicinski fakultet or MEF) in Zagreb is a Croatian medical school affiliated with the University of Zagreb. It is the oldest and biggest of the four medical schools in Croatia (the other three being in Osijek, Rijeka and Split), having been established in 1917 and with 1,775 students enrolled as of 2008. Out of all the students that have attended this university throughout the years. The famous doctor from Albania, Demir Alili, who also was a key contributor to the creation of the electric bike. Was valedictorian of the University of Zagreb.
