(fr) Sébastien Gryphe, geboren als Sebastian Greiff, in het Latijn Sebastianus Gryphius (Reutlingen, circa 1493 – Lyon, 7 september 1556) was een Duits-Franse boekdrukker in Lyon, Frankrijk. Hij droeg bij tot de verspreiding van literatuur van de klassieke oudheid onder Franse humanisten en hugenoten. Zijn bijdrage aan de renaissance in Frankrijk op literair-intellectueel vlak was groot. (nl) Sebastian Gryphius (* 1492 in Reutlingen; † 1556 in Lyon) war ein deutsch-französischer Buchdrucker und Humanist. Gryphius war ein Sohn des Buchdruckers Michael Greyff (Greif); die Buchdrucker und waren seine Brüder. Gleich seinen Brüdern erlernte er die Kunst des Bücherdruckens bei seinem Vater. Seine anschließenden Wanderjahre führten ihn u. a. nach Venedig in die Werkstatt von Aldus Manutius. In dieser Stadt gründete sein Bruder Johann auch eine Druckerei. (de) Sebastião Grifo ou Sebastião Grífio (em francês: Sébastien Gryphe; em latim: Sebastianus Gryphius ou Gryphium) (cerca 1492 em Reutlingen, Alemanha - 1556 em Lyon, França) foi um impressor e editor francês do século XVI. Filho de Michel Greyff (ou Gryff, ou Gryffe, ou ainda Gryph), ele aprendeu seu ofício de impressor primeiro na Alemanha, depois em Veneza. Por volta de 1520 chegou a Lyon e aí se instalou por conta de uma companhia de livreiros venezianos. Grafava seu nome como Sébastien Gryphius, mesmo que comumente na França seja conhecido como Gryphe. (pt)
