The name Rama's Bridge or Rama Setu (Sanskrit; setu: bridge) refers to the bridge built by the Vanara army of Lord Rama in Ramayana, with instructions from Nala, which he used to reach Lanka and rescue Sita from the Rakshasa king, Ravana.
