| - Seversky XP-41 byl stíhací letoun vzniklý v roce 1939 ve Spojených státech amerických. Jediný prototyp vznikl úpravou z posledního vyrobeného Seversky P-35 přidáním aerodynamičtějšího , instalací motoru Pratt & Whitney R-1830-19 s dvourychlostním turbokompresorem, a úpravou podvozku. XP-41 poprvé vzlétl v březnu 1939. Letoun byl vyvíjen současně s P-43 Lancer a práce na něm byly zastaveny poté co USAAC dalo přednost druhému uvedenému typu. (cs)

A single prototype was modified from the last production Seversky P-35 by adding a new streamlined canopy, a Pratt & Whitney R-1830-19 engine with a two-speed supercharger, and revised landing gear. The XP-41 first flew in March 1939. The aircraft was developed in parallel with the P-43 Lancer, and work was stopped when the USAAC showed a preference for the latter. (en)

Realizzato per rispondere a una specifica emessa dall'United States Army Air Corps (USAAC), derivava direttamente dal Seversky P-35, dal quale differiva per un diverso cupolino di chiusura dell'abitacolo, per la dotazione di una versione più potente del motore radiale Pratt & Whitney R-1830, la R-1830-19 da 1 200 hp (895 kW), dotato di un compressore a due velocità, e per un carrello d'atterraggio modificato.
