William Henry Shaw High School is located in Columbus, Georgia, United States. It opened in 1978 at its present location in the Northern Columbus area. Students began attending classes in September of the same year. The school is named in honor of former Muscogee County School District Superintendent William Henry Shaw. Its original proposed name was Schomburg North High School.
