Shinsui Itō (Japanese: 伊東深水, romanized: Itō Shinsui; 4 February 1898 – 8 May 1972) was the pseudonym of a Nihonga painter and ukiyo-e woodblock print artist in Taishō- and Shōwa-period Japan. He was one of the great names of the shin-hanga art movement, which revitalized the traditional art after it began to decline with the advent of photography in the early 20th century. His real name was Itō Hajime (Japanese: 伊東一).

Seu nome real era Hajime Itō (em japonês: 伊東一). Recebeu as comendas de "Tesouro Vivo Nacional" e a Ordem do Sol Nascente. Pochodził z ubogiego regionu Tokio. W 1908 roku, po skończeniu trzech klas szkoły powszechnej, podjął pracę w fabryce tablic sygnalizacyjnych. W 1911 roku rozpoczął naukę w pracowni Kiyokaty Kaburagiego, który kształcił go za darmo. Jego talent został odkryty przez . Prace Itō zostały docenione i otrzymały liczne nagrody. Przez wiele lat pracował jako ilustrator, wykonywał też obrazy w stylu bijinga. Uważany jest za ostatniego wielkiego twórcę drzeworytu ukiyo-e. Jedną z jego najważniejszych prac jest cykl Osiem widoków Ōmi (Ōmi-hakkei, 1917). W 1958 roku został członkiem Japońskiej Akademii Sztuki. (pl)
