- Shmuel Moreh (Hebrew: שמואל מורה; December 22, 1932 – September 22, 2017) was a professor of Arabic Language and Literature at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a recipient of the Israel Prize in Middle Eastern studies in 1999. In addition to having written many books and articles dealing with Arabic literature in general and Iraqi Jewish Arabic literature in particular, he has been a major contributor to Elaph, the first online daily independent journal in the Arabic language. Professor Moreh wrote in Arabic, Hebrew, and English. (en)

- شموئيل موريه (واسمه الأصلي بالعربية: سامي مُعلِّم، حوَّرَهُ بالعبرية وجعلهُ שמואל מורה) (22 ديسمبر 1932 - 22 سبتمبر 2017) أديب وباحث يهودي إسرائيلي من أصل عراقي. ولد في بغداد عام 22.12.1932 وعاش فيها حتى جيل 18 عامًا حين هاجر إلى إسرائيل عام 1951. أكمل دراسته الثانوية في مدرسة شماش ودرس العربية وآدابها في الجامعة العبرية في القدس وحصل على شهادة الدكتوراة من جامعة لندن في بريطانيا. كان يعمل أستاذًا للغة العربية وآدابها في الجامعة العبرية، وأشغل منصب رئيس دائرة اللغة العربية وآدابها في نفس الجامعة.
