Sir John Fenwick, 3rd Baronet (c. 1645 – 28 January 1697) was an English Jacobite conspirator, who succeeded to the Baronetcy of Fenwick on the death of his father in 1676. He was involved in a Jacobite plot to assassinate the monarch. He was beheaded in 1697.

Januar 1697 in London) war ein englischer Jakobiten-Verschwörer. Er stammte aus einer Gutsbesitzer-Familie in Northumberland und erbte 1676 beim Tod seines Vaters Sir William Fenwick, 2. Baronet, dessen Adelstitel eines Baronet, of Fenwick in the County of Northumberland. Er wählte die Militärlaufbahn und stieg 1688 zum Generalmajor auf. 1676 befehligte er bei der Belagerung von Maastricht unter Wilhelm III. von Oranien ein englisches Regiment. 1677 bis 1687 war er für den Wahlbezirk Northumberland Mitglied des House of Commons. Er war ein Parteigänger von Jakob II., blieb aber nach der Thronbesteigung von Wilhelm von Oranien 1688 im Land. Er war an Verschwörungsplänen gegen den neuen König beteiligt und deswegen auch 1689 kurz im Gefängnis. S (de) John Fenwick (ca 1645 - Londen, 28 januari 1697) was een Engels militair en jacobiet. Hij is vooral bekend als samenzweerder tegen het bewind van de nieuwe koning Willem III, waarvoor hij de doodstraf kreeg. Na veel discussies in het verdeelde parlement, en ondanks pogingen van zijn vrouw Mary, dochter van Charles Howard, 1e graaf van Carlisle, om zijn leven te redden, werd hij in 1697 onthoofd. Samen met zijn drie zonen, die allen jong stierven, ligt hij begraven in de kerk van St. Martin-in-the-Fields in Londen. (nl)
