Snake River Conspiracy (SRC) is an American industrial rock band. It was founded in 1996 in San Francisco, California, United States, by Eric Valentine and Jason Slater, with the band's vocalist Tobey Torres being recruited in 1998. Snake River Conspiracy's debut album, Sonic Jihad (2000), found modest success, but was ultimately commercially unsuccessful. The band attempted to work on a follow-up album to Sonic Jihad, tentatively know as SRC2, but its production was marred by multiple interpersonal disputes and lineup changes before breaking up in September 2006.
