South Norwood F.C. was an amateur football club, founded in October 1871, from South Norwood in London, originally using a field alongside Portland Road (opposite the Spread Eagle tavern) and charging members a 5s annual subscription. The club moved to the local cricket ground in 1875 and Woodside Green in 1877. The club appears to have wound up after the 1880-81 season, the last recorded match being a 7-0 defeat to Westminster School in February 1881, and it was not a founder member of the London Football Association, which started in 1882.
