Special Team 6 (ST6) was a European multinational police tactical unit that was formed after the Kosovo conflict in 1999 by the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK). The unit's size was 21 operators seconded mostly from various European police tactical units. The unit formed a part of the United Nations Police and every member country of the United Nations could contribute to the unit. They acted as police officers and handled dangerous situations caused by Albanian and Serb ethnic violence in Kosovo. Special Team 6 handled high-risk arrests, security of diplomats, and hostage rescue.

| - Das Team 6 (auch Special Team 6) ist eine Spezialeinheit der Übergangsverwaltungsmission der Vereinten Nationen im Kosovo zur im Kosovo. Gegründet wurde sie 1999 und hat ihren Sitz in Priština. Das Team 6 besteht aus Mitgliedern von Spezialeinheiten verschiedenster Länder. Jeder der aufgenommen werden möchte, muss einen Schiesstest und einen Lauf über 2 Kilometer mit voller Ausrüstung bestehen. Darüber hinaus ist ein Interview mit einem Teamleader und einem Mitglied vorgesehen. Organisatorisch besteht das Special Team Six aus einem Kommandeur, der von zwei Teamleadern vertreten werden kann. Insgesamt gehören 22 Personen zur Einheit, wovon 10–14 Personen im Einsatz sind. Daneben ist noch eine Person für technische Angelegenheiten vorgesehen, welche als einzige Person nicht in einer Spezialeinheit dienen muss. Das Einsatzprofil beinhaltet Geiselbefreiung, Verhaftung von bewaffneten Personen oder Personen, die einen Bezug zum Drogenmilieu haben, Personenschutz und Begleitschutz.
