St. Godehard is a church in Hildesheim, Germany, formerly the church of a Benedictine abbey. It remained almost unaltered through the centuries and was not damaged much in World War II. It is one of the most important examples of Romanesque architecture in Germany.

| - Bazilika svatého Gotharda je románská stavba v Hildesheimu nedaleko města Hannover. Kostel byl pravděpodobně založen v letech 1131 až 1139 za panování knížete Soběslava I. Všechny kostely zasvěcené patronu svatému Gothardovi vznikly v těchto letech. Gothard byl svatořečen v roce 1131. Kostel byl i s celou vsí za husitských válek vypálen a k jeho obnovení jako farního došlo až v roce 1711. Úplně dostavěn byl v roce 1758 a v této podobě je dodnes.[zdroj?] (cs)

Die zwischen 1133 und 1172 erbaute ehemalige Abteikirche der gleichnamigen Benediktinerabtei, von keinerlei späteren Umbauten beeinträchtigt und im Zweiten Weltkrieg fast unversehrt geblieben, zählt mit ihren klassischen Proportionen zu den bedeutendsten Zeugnissen romanischer Baukunst in Deutschland. Ihre gleichnamige Pfarrei gehört zum Dekanat Hildesheim des Bistums Hildesheim. Seit 1963 trägt sie den päpstlichen Ehrentitel Basilica minor. (de)

- La Basílica de San Gotardo (en alemán: Basilika St. Godehard) es una iglesia románica en Hildesheim, Alemania, antes la iglesia de una abadía benedictina. Se mantuvo casi inalterada a través de los siglos y no sufrió daños considerables en la Segunda Guerra Mundial. En 1963, se le otorgó el título de basílica menor por parte del Papa Pablo VI. Se trata de una iglesia de la parroquia católica de Heilig Kreuz. La basílica sirvió como la "catedral" del obispo de Hildesheim 1945-1960, cuando la catedral de Hildesheim fue destruida y reconstruida, y desde 2010, cuando comenzó la restauración de la catedral. Una araña Hezilo fue instalada en San Gotardo durante el tiempo de restauración. (es)
