- Stavroúla Samará (en grec moderne : Σταυρούλα Σαμαρά), née le 8 juillet 1994, est une gymnaste artistique grecque. Elle a participé à des championnats du monde, notamment aux championnats du monde de gymnastique rythmique de 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014 et 2015. En 2015, elle a participé aux Jeux européens à Bakou, en Azerbaïdjan. Elle a également participé aux Jeux olympiques d'été de 2012 à Londres. Elle faisait partie de l'équipe grecque de gymnastique rythmique aux Jeux olympiques d'été de 2016 à Rio de Janeiro. L'équipe a terminé 13e en qualification et ne s'est pas qualifiée pour la finale. Το 2016 συμμετείχε στους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες 2016 στο Ρίο ντε Τζανέιρο ως αρχιγός της ελληνικής εθνικής ομάδας ρυθμικής γυμναστικής.Σπούδασε στο και στο Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών.Έχει βραβευτεί από τον Πρόεδρο της Δημοκρατίας το 2016 για τη συμμετοχή της στους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες του Ρίο και δέχθηκε μαζί με την υπόλοιπη Ολυμπιακή Ομάδα του Ρίο τιμητική πρόσκληση στο Ζάππειο Μέγαρο και στη Βουλή των Ελλήνων. Επίσης, έχει βραβευτεί από τη UNICEF για την προσφορά της στον τηλεμαραθώνιο που διογρανώθηκε από την ΕΡΤ αλλά και από το ΟΡΑΜΑ "Μαζί για το ΠΑΙΔΙ" της κυρίας Μαριάννας Βαρδινογιάννη το 2016. Έχει παρευρεθεί σε τηλεοπτικές εκπομπές όπως στο Ώρα των ΣΠΟΡ όπου ως προσκεκλημένη μοιράστηκε τις αθλητικές της επιτυχίες με τον δημοσιογράφο Αντώνη Κατσαρό, σε κληρώσεις του ΛΟΤΤΟ, σε τηλεμαραθωνίους με φιλανθρωπικό σκοπό κλπ. In 2012 Stavroula gave an interview to BBC following their winning the bronze medal for the 2012 London Olympic Games. Following the 2015 World Championship, Stavroula gave an interview at the National Channel of Greece ERT3 and ERT1. Stavroula has been awarded by the President of the Hellenic Republic Mr Prokopis Pavlopoulos at the Presidential Mansion and the Greek Parliament following the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. She has been also awarded by the Internation Olympic Committee, the Hellenic Club of Olympic Winners the UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador and president of her Foundation “ORAMA ELPIDA”, Marianna Vardinogianni, the Hellenic Olympic Committee, UNICEF Greece etc. Stavroula has volunteered with the Hellenic Olympic Committee to the Foundation “ORAMA ELPIDA” and the ELPIDA YOUTH SUMMER CUMP of Marianna Vardinogianni where dinstinctive presonalities like the Princess of Greece and Denmark, Tatiana Blatnik, Marianna Goulandris and many more supported the event. She is also a mentor at the non-profit organisation “100 MENTORS” and has online speaches with students from all of the Greek comunity. (en)
