Strangford (Irish: Loch Cuan, Ulster Scots: Strangfurd) is a constituency in the Northern Ireland Assembly. The seat was first used for a Northern Ireland-only election for the Northern Ireland Forum in 1996. Since 1998, it has elected members to the current Assembly. For Assembly elections before 1996, the constituency was largely part of the North Down constituency with smaller sections being added from Belfast East constituency and Belfast South constituency. Since 1997, it has shared boundaries with the Strangford UK Parliament constituency.

  • Is toghcheantar tionóil é Loch Cuan ar Thionól Thuaisceart Éireann (Béarla: Strangford). D'úsáideadh an suíochán den chéad uair i dtoghchán do Thuaisceart Éireann amháin, d’Fhóram Thuaisceart Éireann i 1996. Ó 1998, tá baill tofa aige don Tionól reatha. Do thoghcháin an Tionóil roimh 1996, bhí an toghcheantar mar chuid de thoghcheantar an Dúin Thuaidh den chuid is mó agus cuireadh codanna níos lú leis ó thoghcheantar Bhéal Feirste Thoir agus ó thoghcheantar Bhéal Feirste Theas. Ó 1997 i leith, tá teorainneacha comhroinnte aige le toghcheantar Pharlaimint Bhaile Loch Cuan na Ríochta Aontaithe. (ga)
