Produzido por Barney Sarecky, dirigido por e com roteiro de Richard Fielding (pseudônimo coletivo de Robert Maxwell e Whitney Ellsworth), foi filmado em 12 dias. Com 58 minutos de duração, foi uma espécie de teste para a série de Televisão que se seguiria, Adventures of Superman, para o qual se tornou um episódio em duas partes intitulado "The Unknown People". Černobílý film, ke kterému napsali scénář Robert Maxwell a Whitney Ellsworth pod společným pseudonymem Richard Fielding, byl natočen během 12 dní. Premiéru měl 23. listopadu 1951, v následujícím roce také posloužil jako dvoudílná pilotní epizoda s názvem „The Unknown People“ pro televizní seriál Adventures of Superman. (cs)
