| - معبد آمون هو موقع أثري في جبل البركل في الولاية الشمالية، السودان. تقع على بعد 400 كيلومتر (250 ميل) شمال الخرطوم بالقرب من مدينة كريمة. يعتبر معبد آمون، أحد أكبر المعابد في جبل البركل. حتى منتصف القرن التاسع عشر، تعرض المعبد للتخريب والتدمير والنهب العشوائي، قبل أن يصبح تحت حماية الدولة. (ar)
- Ο Ναός του Άμμωνα είναι ένας αρχαιολογικός χώρος στο Γκέμπελ Μπαρκάλ του Σουδάν. Βρίσκεται περίπου 400 χιλιόμετρα βόρεια του Χαρτούμ κοντά στην πόλη Καρίμα. Ο ναός βρίσκεται κοντά σε ένα μεγάλο πλάτωμα του Νείλου, στην περιοχή που τη αρχαία εποχή ήταν η Νουβία. Ο Ναός του Άμμωνα, ένας από τους μεγαλύτερους στο Γκέμπελ Μπαρκάλ, θεωρείται ιερός από τον τοπικό πληθυσμό. - Der Amuntempel vom Berg Barkal (in der Fachliteratur als B.500 bezeichnet) war der bedeutendste und größte Tempelbau im ägyptischen Stil innerhalb der antiken Stadt Napata in Nubien. Der Tempel, der dem Amun geweiht war, wurde als kleine Kapelle am Fuß des Berges Barkal im ägyptischen Neuen Reich begonnen. Vor allem von etwa 750–300 v. Chr., als Napata Hauptstadt des kuschitischen Reiches war, war der Tempel das religiöse Zentrum von Nubien. Er wurde als Ipet-sut von Napata, also Karnak von Napata bezeichnet. (de)
- The Temple of Amun is an archaeological site at Jebel Barkal in Northern State, Sudan. It is situated about 400 kilometres (250 mi) north of Khartoum near Karima. The temple stands near a large bend of the Nile River, in the region that was called Nubia in ancient times. The Temple of Amun, one of the largest temples at Jebel Barkal, is considered sacred to the local population. Not only was the Amun temple a main centre of what at one time was considered to be an almost universal religion, but, along with the other archaeological sites at Jebel Barkal, it was representative of the revival of Egyptian religious values. Up to the middle of the 19th century, the temple was subjected to vandalism, destruction, and indiscriminate plundering, before it came under state protection. (en)
