The Temple of ECK, located near Lake Ann in Chanhassen, Minnesota on about 174 acres (70 ha) of land, is the center of the Eckankar faith in the United States. Purchased by the church in 1985,It was built at a cost of $8.2 million. The building was completed in 1990. Eckists welcome those of all faiths to the temple, inviting them to become closer to god in their own way, pursuant of the Eckankar theology - to help the soul return home to god. It is claimed in the Eckanar faith that other worlds and planes have similar temples.
