- Konec věčnosti (v českém vydání z roku 2002 Konec Věčnosti, v anglickém originále The End of Eternity) je vědeckofantastický román amerického spisovatele Isaaca Asimova vydaný v roce 1955. Román se zabývá cestováním v čase a sociálním inženýrstvím. V knize se objevují prvky thrilleru a záhad. Téma je odlišné od většiny Asimovova díla, totiž obvyklých robotických povídek a space oper, jedná se spíše o inteligentní románovou úvahu o časových paradoxech. Podle The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction je Konec věčnosti Asimovovým nejlepším dílem. (cs)

Its premise is that of a causal loop, a type of temporal paradox in which events and their causes form a loop. Many years later, Asimov tied this novel into his broader Foundation Series by hinting in Foundation's Edge that it is set in a universe where Eternity had existed but was destroyed by Eternals, leading to an all-human galaxy later. Tuttavia il romanzo, come e ancora più di Nemesis, ne costituisce il presupposto narrativo ed è anzi la chiave di volta dei successivi cicli di romanzi asimoviani. Il romanzo è incentrato sul tema del viaggio nel tempo e i suoi paradossi, non disdegnando una forte caratterizzazione del personaggio principale e uno sfondo sentimentale che tuttavia è parte centrale dell'intreccio.
