The Green Cathedral or De Groene Kathedraal located near Almere in the Netherlands, is an artistic planting of Lombardy poplars (Populus nigra italica) that mimics the size and shape of the Cathedral of Notre-Dame, Reims, France. The Green Cathedral is 150 m (490 ft) long and 75 m (246 ft) wide, and the mature poplar trees are about 30 m (98 ft) tall.

Ce projet de land art a été installé en avril 1987 sur un terrain de polder ; 178 arbres ont été plantés sur une butte, à un demi-mètre au-dessus de la zone environnante. Au cours des années suivantes, certains arbres ont été remplacés en raison des dommages causés par les cerfs et de la pierre a été posée dans le sol pour faire écho aux nervures transversales et aux poutres de soutien de la cathédrale. Tout juste à proximité, une clairière a été aussi crée plus tard qui reprend exactement l'empreinte de la cathédrale.
