Die deutsche Erstausgabe wurde 1958 vom Scherz Verlag (Bern / Stuttgart / Wien) veröffentlicht. Sie ist somit die erste Sammlung Christie'scher Kurzgeschichten, die ins Deutsche übertragen wurde. Im Atlantik Verlag erschienen 2015 Das Große Hercule Poirot Buch. Die besten Kriminalgeschichten. mit dem Vorwort sowie vier der Kurzgeschichten in einer Neuübersetzung von Michael Mundhenk. (de)
